After Hours Appointments:
Florida Joint Care Institute is proud to announce After-Hours Orthopaedics at Florida Joint Care Institute, featuring care provided by a Board certified MD with sports medicine training. Starting on Tuesday, August 2nd, our office will have evening appointments on Tuesday through Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM. We are excited for this opportunity to better serve our community for patients who have limited availability during our regular hours, people suffering injuries that need same-day attention, and students who do not want to miss class. You can expect the same expert care you have come to expect at Florida Joint Care Institute from our new medical provider Rachel Dhani, M.D. and our clinical staff. X-ray imaging, injections, ultrasound, fracture care, casting, and other orthopaedic and sports medicine treatments will be available.

Dr. Dhani:
On August 2nd, Florida Joint Care Institute welcomes Rachel Dhani, M.D. As a non-operative orthopaedic sports medicine physician, she now provides exceptional orthopaedic care to our community with extended after hours. Her specialty includes the evaluation and nonoperative management of common musculoskeletal injuries, x-ray evaluation, ultrasound guided injections, fracture care, with bracing and physical therapy resources on site. With hours extended until 8 PM, this provides a great opportunity for working individuals to still seek care for their musculoskeletal problems. For those injuries and ailments requiring surgical intervention, our team of four orthopaedic surgeons remain available for urgent follow-up consultation. We welcome Dr. Dhani to the team and look forward to expanding our abilities to best address the functional needs of those in our community.

Dr. Fuller:
On August 15th, John Fuller, M.D. joins Florida Joint Care Institute as our upper extremity and hand orthopaedic surgeon. His expertise with hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow conditions will allow our patients to receive more specialized care. Dr. Fuller is a Florida native and completed his undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology at University of Florida in 2010 and achieved Doctor of Medicine at University of Central Florida College of Medicine in 2015. He completed his residency at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center/Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Orthopaedic Surgery Program in 2021. He recently completed his fellowship at the University of New Mexico Hand Fellowship Program.
